I'm shooting in the rain, just shooting in the rain
Lens: da*300mm F4 Camera: K5iis Photo Location: Venice Fl Rookery

Yup it was raining, foggy, cold by OUR standards. and this was the first time I have shot at 1600 ISO in regards to nature images.
Even then I struggled most the time to get above 1/200ths sec. But the mighty K5ii prevailed.
A female Cardinal in the rain, , a Grackle with a lizard. and an injured Sand Hill Crane for which wildlife rescue was called.I stumbled across her by the roadside. so I parked the car to block access to her from other vehicles and let the host know her condition. Broken foot.
anyways not my best, but for a dismal day, not to bad lol.

All are absolutely amazing shots! My goal is someday to have one of the 300 lens; you certainly make that one shine!

it makes ME shine lol, The most affordable 300 prime and well worth it. It's a little tricky to get along with but we have come to an understanding
