Testing the 150-450mm
Lens: DFA 150-450mm Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Québec

I'm currently testing the DFA 150-450mm. An impressive lens, the largest I've used by far! Good thing I have a monopod, using it for an extended period of time without one isn't a good idea. With the monopod and a good ballhead it's a joy.

My kids are taking skiing lessons and I decided to bring the lens along. I'm pretty satisfied with the results! In particular #3.

I agree, very good photos

I have posted a few experimentations of my own with my K 3 + the Pentadx DFA 150-450mm (aka the big guy) mostly hand held but of static objects not action photos. I like it alot

Yes the lens is impressive when used properly. The learning curve is surprisingly easy, but I'd venture to say that a monopod or tripod is mandatory. For action, I prefer a monopod, with a good head and well adjusted friction. Tilting the monopod as needed is easier than being stuck with a fixed tripod.
