Puddle Ice
Lens: DFA 28-105 Camera: K-1 Photo Location: South Algonquin, Ontario ISO: 100 Aperture: F6.3

From the morning walk. A -20 cold snap came in overnight, causing some interesting ice crystals in the puddles.

Those look almost like ferns Norm.

They were much different in 3D. Some of those crystals with a half inch high. The weren't flat like window fractals. They were all quite interesting.

Yes, like one started and then the rest of it sort of fractaled up into little mini crystal ice towers, sticking on clusters up out of the puddle/

I was so concerned about keeping the focal plane parallel with the seņor, it never occurred to me give the low angle background fading to totally out of focus shot from low and right in front. I had my floppy screen so it was totally possible,
