Its not been the best weather for shooting snow crystals so far this season. We've had fairly mild temperatures and not much snow, and when we have had snow its been mostly icy junk and very few undamaged crystals.

I managed a few this morning although they too were damaged, and not perfectly symmetrical. I used my Snowcatcher as usual.
