Mercury and Gemini Space Capsules

Mercury-Redstone 2
Launch Date 31 Jan 1961 - this capsule carried the chimpanzee named Ham

Gemini XI
Launch Date 12 Sep 1966 - this capsule carried Charles "Pete" Conrad, Jr. and Richard F. Gordon Jr.
Mission highlights - first manned rendezvous with Agena Target Vehicle and used Agena engine to affect orbital changes, two EVA (spacewalks) by Conrad.

The first Gemini interior photo is blurry as the AF and myself had difficulty focusing due to all the reflections. I did not bring a CPL. A somewhat blurry shot is better than no shot. I'll have to return.

They also had the Apollo-Soyuz capsule but I gave up trying to get photos without people standing in front of it. I seem to recall that they at one time had one of the lunar mission capsules but I could be wrong.

It's amazing how small these capsules are.
