The Takumar 55mm F1.8 is a very sharp lens that unfortunately, is over shadowed by its cousin the Takumar 50mm f1.4. My 55mm f1.8 came with an original metal hood and is smaller in diameter than my 50mm which makes it more attractive. I had a whole bunch of Takumar lenses in my bag yesterday while at the zoo, but decided to only use this one because I could always crop in PP that's how sharp the lens is.

At first glance I though that the cat was jumping.....I must need my eyes checked again.
