Thank you both for your positive feedback. It was a lot of fun setting up this shot. We caught a break in the weather, so I decided it was time to take out my XMAS present and get busy.

Rgds,

Tony

I have been looking at this for hours. I can't work out what it is. For novelty alone, it is a winner.

The photo is of an Earthen landscape jar that has been worked over with glazing and fire. Very interesting to watch as they perform their magic starting with a manually operated wheel that shapes the clay, wait for it to harden and then pop it in the pre-heated oven at approximately 3000 degrees.

Thanks,

Tony
