This place has been shot 9 million different ways so I figured why not try something different?

Thank you! Most people try to take shots from the front...a full on frontal... but I tried to think of something different. The options are pretty limited but I am pretty pleased with this one

Much better than mine, the 9,000,000 and 1.

The lawman makes it.

Thank you! I saw him coming so I tried my best. If I could have gotten a Texas Ranger to pose for a portrait from this angle that would be interesting.

This is a terrific shot of the Alamo. I've photographed the place two or three times since we moved to Texas in '95, but I've never brought home anything worth sharing. So . . . . . . . . . you have my admiration!

Thank you good sir!

It can be a challenging place to shoot for sure. Only so many spots or angles. I just tried to think outside the box.

It's literally been months (at least) since I took a single photo. It's kind of nice to know that my powers of observation aren't completely gone.

Thanks for the compliment.

I've shot the Alamo a couple of times. Unfortunately I was there after they put up the "Ozzy Osborne" handrail/rope in front of it to keep jerks from -------ing on the Alamo. I think the protective rope ruins all of the photos taken since they put it up. Thanks Ozzy!!

When I was there, it had a cherry picker, and blue tarp and plywood around the church entrance, and some sort of beige muslin in a hanging in a few places.
