While out an about, I decided to hit one of the local pawn shops that actually specializes in photo equipment. Walked away with a brand new Manfrotto mono-pod for $12. Never opened. Looked it up and it goes for $59.

Another neat item I found, was my new "macro lens". Well, actually it's a macro filter that screws on just like any other filter. This shot was taken of one of my wife's roses and the 18-55mm kit lens. Only thing is that the filter is a 58MM and the lens is a 52mm, so I'm holding it up there. I couldn't remember which it was in the store but for $5............ Porters carries these so I might get one until I decide which macro I want. Leaning towards the Tamron AF90 2.8.

Thanks Bud! Since I just bought the Tamron 70-300 Di, I'll have to wait on the AF90. I wanted something a little longer than my 18-200 until I can get me either a 400 or 500 Sigma next year.
