Window fractal ice part 2
Lens: Tarmon 90 macro Camera: K-1 Photo Location: My house ISO: 100 Aperture: F11

K-1 and Tamron 90 Macro
ISO 100, ƒ11, AV (1/15 to 1/60s)

I made some changes to increase my PS keeper rate this morning, I used my heaviest sturdiest tripod. Worked in a spot where there was no traffic, floor vibration can ruin a PS image, and no wind. I used the in camera levels to keep the camera level both vertically and horizontally, to make sure my focal plane was aligned with the window pane. The result was not one non-pixel shifted image made the cut after processing. I'm used to about 20% of the pixel shifted images making the cut, so the controlled conditions made a huge difference.

Todays images.

Wow, just super clear/detailed/sharp imagery on show here.

Great work. Is it just me or does anyone else want to play with colored light seeing these images, and get some very close images?

Man, these are cool - in both senses of the word. I particularly like the second one. Good stuff.

At web size the single images tend to look good. On my 27 inch monitor the more intricate ones tend to stand out more.
