The second image down of the Haas is great, very good job with panning.
And how did you get the last shot strait down on Hamilton in the cockpit?
Thank you KiliHotelphoto
Yes that was a slow shutter panning, but distance helped me to get it right and also burst mode helps a lot.
The Hamilton cockpit shot is from the distance, as I am using a SIgma 100-300mm. Let me show you. There is a terrace on top of the boxes where you can see the pitlane, and so it's as "simple" as to check who will pit in, and where is the team placed.
You can see it here, where this people at the left side are standing on top.

On a GP day this is not a common area, but during the tests and some other kind of races usually you have acces if you have some kind of pass or (as I do) you work as track marshall during the year. (not during the test days tho)

Originally posted by Top banana nice set - i really like the last one as it's an unusual angle to get
Thank you Top banana. Yes it is indeed different, yet quite "easy" to do.
Originally posted by Kerrowdown Great shots, you managed to get surprisingly close to the action from a public area.
Thank you Kerrowdown! There aren't as much good public spots so at the end you get to know the good ones

We are told it's impossible to shoot action if you're unlucky enough to own Pentax.
What's your camera and lens?
Thank you clackers!
They say so! But they are wrong!
I am using actually a K3 Silver Premium Edition that i got second hand with 8.000 pictures done on the clock, for a very good price and in great condition, and I am honestly trying to get to know her, and my main lens those days was my beloved Sigma APO 100-300mm F4. I used to use my beloved K5 classic, but i just put too many miles on her clock, so nowadays I keep it as a second body so I can enjoy with her even longer!
