Just a few of the critters I saw on my walk.
Lens: DA*300 Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Pennsylvania
Posted By: KiloHotelphoto, 03-14-2017, 09:43 AM

Got out yesterday to play with the DA*300, haven't had to many chances do to work and weather.

I wish I could've got a clear shot of the ground hog, branch was in the way and it didn't stick around long enough for me to move into the clear. Not sure what the little rodent is, that's the only view I was able to get of it.

Nice photos!
One day (soon-ish) I hope to get my hands on a DA*300.

Thanks bertwert. It is a great lens, I picked it up about three weeks ago because I wanted something for long walks around a wildlife refuge by me, I love my 560 but it's not the best for that. I had it on the K-1 yesterday but the plan is to mainly use it on the K-3. I was really amazed at how small it was, for some reason I thought it would be bigger. I'm really looking forward to whenever spring arrives here and catching some more of the wildlife.

A meadow vole would be my guess--at any rate, that looks to be a nice walk you had!

Thanks CreationBear, I looked that up and I am pretty sure that's it.
