A tiny little village on the Canary island of La Palma, off the coast of Africa but part of Spain. Its church lies on a steep slope with the Atlantic Ocean in the background. The cemetery is of the type particular to all the Canary islands where the dead are buried above-ground in purpose-built alcoves/niches. The structure in the middle remained of an unknown nature to me and as it was the afternoon break, there was noone in sight to ask.
