Landscape Catalina Island pictures

Catalina Island this weekend. I took 3 lenses, but ended up using the 35mm Macro DA Limited almost exclusively. It's hard to take a bad picture here. AND it's totally worth getting out at 5:30am to get that sunrise, as you all know.

This one is with the DA 15mm Limited.

I took 361 pictures in 3 days. That's probably a record for me!

I had a wonderful time, too.

Beautiful shots!. My wife and I visited the island once many years ago, and now I'm transported right back. Looks just like I remember!

We're visiting again in September, I hope we get as nice a day as you did...

I arrived a day early before the rest of our group, took a nap, and then walked around for these pictures. I was glad I did, because the rest of the trip it was foggy out.

From your avatar pic, you're a diver. Did you get underwater at Catalina? Supposed to be a wonderful spot for fish, kelp beds, and mammals (seals, sea lions, otters in the area)... Have seen some wonderful photos and videos of it...
