Meese in Banff
Lens: 50-200/4-5.6 Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Banff, AB ISO: 640 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F8

As we were driving through Banff I saw a couple meese, I got a few photos from the side of the road. Just resized and used DXO Smart Lighting.

What? The plural of moose must be meese, just like goose and geese...

Nice crisp detailed shot. I find your logic refreshing.

Moose? Meese? Does that mean that the plural of 'spouse' is 'spice'?

Indirectly, maybe. If I had more than one spouse, conditions could be described as spicy

We are pretty open minded in Canada, we will accept moose for plural or singular (as in "I had to dodge at least 20 moose on the way home last night") or mooses for plural (as in "look at them two mooses in the ditch").

A little known fact that spice is the plural of spouse but as we live in a monogamous society...

Technically the plural of moose is moose.

Very nice photograph. I thought Meese was plural for Mouse, such as: I hate you meeses to pieces. )

Yes, in our household we use that terminology consistently.

Monogamy has nothing to do with it.

If my wife is going to invite four friends over, I might ask "Are their spice coming also?"

That covers both husbands and wives when the friends are mixed in gender.
