Nature Pelicans at La jolla Cove

Cropped a close up of some pelicans loitering around La Jolla Cove, Ca with my K70 +18-135 lens last month.

Sigh... what I'd give to get out of New England to spend a day in S Cal right about now.

Is that breeding colors? I have never seen there neck's so red. Nice capture.

I increased saturation slightly overall. I was looking for a nice contrast with their black necks. Originally it was a dull orange red color. Thanks for commenting.
