Aside from my pleasure from results provided to me by my trusted M200/4, I was simply blown away by my FA 100/2.8 macro in the same conference with subtle lighting.

I thought, what the hey, let's see what this thing can do wide open...
So here they are, f/2.8-4 at ISO 1000+ handheld:
Images taken as straight JPEGs (bright) on the K10D with +1 sharpness, contrast and saturation...









Unlike the M200/4, which I made sure I stopped down a little more, these images were still very sharp at the 100% crop.

What do y'all think of this performance?

Good series of shots. A little tungston hue but it is quite an amazing feast just to get the shots taken without blurr

Quite a few of the macros out there have hidden talents.
