Cheese making in the alps
Posted By: tcom, 08-10-2008, 10:46 AM

Time to share in a few threads some photos of the weekend. Here is the first thread with some shots from yesterday, taken in an alpine chalet from the 17th century. They show how cheese is created traditionally:

Milk is heated, but stirring and checking the temperature, is not so traditional anymore:
K20D, FA43, 1/30, f/2, 1250iso

120l of milk are ready:
K20D, DA21, 1/30, f/3.2, 1250iso

Getting the cheese out:
K20D, DA21, 1/40, f/4, 1250iso

K20D, DA21, 1/40, f/4, 1250iso

And putting the cheese into shape:
K20D, DA21, 1/40, f/5, 1250iso

K20D, DA21, 1/20, f/3.2, 1250iso

Comments and critiques are welcome
