Astro season is nearing its end here. Still, new moon opens up few possibilities.

Thank you! Last one is astro-traced, 60 seconds @ ISO800. Separate foreground exposure blended in for sharp details. Shot wide open with Zeiss 28/2 which is quite tricky to focus properly in this kind of image. Lots of coma, but anyway, I liked the output.

Great photos. The first one has a great composition, and the windmill in the third looks really nice against the sky. Thanks for sharing!

Great shots. Especially the first one. It looks like something Nikola Tesla would dream up.

Thank you very much for watching and feedback. I have been trying to do something creative with star trails for few years but it is very tricky to find co-operating subjects. Gotta keep trying Astro-tracker on the other hand is nice with moderate wide angles up to 1-2 minutes like with this 28mm in the windmill scene. Not much edge trailing and still pointy stars and clean file to process. Not shown in web sized images here but AT allows printing starry skies a lot larger. I wish there was Otus 28mm for K-mount.
