Favourite Steps

It's one of my favourite sets of steps in Edinburgh, but they seem to get steeper the older I get.

And a Bonnie Lassie. They are getting steeper, it couldn't be we are getting older, never.

Very nice image but my arthritic hips would have a hard time making it up there.

That's why they retrofitted the centre handrail for people at an advanced state of decay.

I have been up and down those steps a number of times, just as well I am still agile

Great 'S' steps..it all fits together really well...glad I am not climbing them though!

My knees started hurting as soon as I looked at this shot!

I like the photo a lot - I wonder why winding staircases are so intriguing.

No... they were put there to separate the uppers from the downers.

Nice image KD (and even a bit of colour in the stonework - even if it is a moss (or something) from the cold and wet clime)
