Ancient Aqueduct of Segovia in Spain. Is considered to be one of the best-preserved elevated Roman aqueducts in the world.

Wonderful composition with the ancient and modern side-by-side. I've walked across the one in Tarragona, so this photo brings back some memories.

Good shot, because you're able to get up and above "today Segovia" (*). How did you manage that?


(*) I know from photographing bridges, that the view from the top and the view from the bottom are completely different perspectives ..... and usually one is much more pleasing to me than the other
