It takes too long to go round, but walking up...

A fine stair set in Auld Reekie.

that would take me a lot of baby steps to make it to the top KD, hey you even captured a car speeding by, maybe he's going around to save the climb up.

That is a really nice photo. I like the color palate as well.

The trick is not to make it look like your struggling... which makes it even harder.

Aye it was a taxi too, but mumbled something about his suspension wouldn't handle the steps going up.

A light split toning with golden highlights and blue shadows.

And believe it or not... there are even worse sets of stairs in Edinburgh.

This is a warm up set to be getting on with.

That is probably pretty normal for Edinburgh.
KD can't take the credit for that, surely?

That maybe so, but I'm still claiming the credit.

The pix appeals to me.

I like the B+W treatment, the composition, the detail (note the bricks)....but to me what makes this photograph is the vehicle going by in a blur of speed. Makes me feel as if I'm there looking up, from the other side of the street...a snapshot of life, a bit out of the old memory bank....as it were.

Thank you, it was a Taxi passing by, not really moving that quickly, but at a 1/10sec shutter... it gave it the blur I needed.

Great image KD. Love the movement in the taxi....contrast between fast taxi and slow climber! Also, love the PP (colour etc)
