Won't you Bee My Flower
Posted By: little laker, 08-11-2008, 01:45 PM

I was out with my lady friend today, with my Super Takumar 35mm F2, on a 2x tc converted into an extension tube.
When my lady friend pointed to a flower with a bee on it.

I couldn't resist trying to take it's picture, and it was worth the effort

Sorry to say, it was using my Sigma body, I had the kit lens on my Pentax for general use at the time.

My lady friend has helped with my creativity lately, helping explain the different style I've slipped in.

Definitely different style and it is a good change too. The colour, style and composition all changed in a unique way.

That's a sharp shot Stu I like it. The Bee does indeed look busy.

The colouring is different .... but it adds to the impact of the shot ... that is a sharp shot though.

Thank you very much everyone

I thought that you might like the rest of the series as well.

Today was the first time that I've tried this combo, and over all I'm very impressed with what it can do

It does have an interesting effect while under-exposed. But I'll start another thread on that sometime tonight
