First picture post here, haven't been out too much lately since I wrecked the car, but it will be fixed soon and I'll get out again. These are a few of my favorites from the past month. It's been quite cold here for a change from the warm(ish) weather we had in December. Comments always welcome, enjoy!

ieww - except for the heating bill, I'd rather it be cold..

Excellent compositions and exposures. I like the color in the fist image it provides contrast and extra interest.

Thanks! - I've been trying to get some similar shots to that first one, but the light hasn't been the same since. (and I lucked out finding these ice formations - they're kinda floating over the water, it just snowed and now they're all gone - there's a few different formations left - but nothing as delicate as that first one.. )

These are very well done, Dan. Since I now live in the south, I miss the photographic opportunities winter provides (I'd don't miss some of the stuff that goes with those opportunities, however). Thanks for posting these and keep them coming.

Nice winter shots - there's one on the first page of the link you posted that's B&W with a clump of ice and a branch trailing in the water - very nice!
