Nice series, I've never found a blue jay as cooperative as the one you worked with. I finally got one shot today of one that I liked.

Thanks very much. They haven't been coming around the feeders as much as they used to in the past. And, when they do, they've been very skittish. Some feral cats are part of the reason and a pair of Cooper's hawks have staked out the area for their hunting territory. So, traffic at my feeders has been down this year.

I would trade the blue jays for Cooper's hawks. I just saw my first one a few weeks ago and was only able to get one shot. Had the wrong lens for the job on and when I went and switched it left.
