Five image series of a mysterious figure.

1. Face

Tombstone



Pixel shifted with pol filter.

One from last year with Sony A7R2 + 3 shot vertical panorama shifted with Canon 90mm TS-E for better separation against background

Thank you. I added one additional portrait which does not warp the subject towards the edges as the 28mm lens does. This brass statue is totally unique in Finland and really stunning seen live during the sunset hour.

Here is one additional photo pointing opposite direction from the sculpture:



It seems the person in question had deep connection to the church nearby as her tombstone is now guarding the building from a distance.

The statue ones alone were really a stunning set of images, but this last one has a very interesting perspective, It tells the story the others ones could not. Perfect!

I am happy you like these. I have seen few other photos of the statue during last few years but none have paid any attention to the church nearby. As brewmaster noted, the statue itself is only half the story.
