Well, I didn't know they ate turtles either. But I guess they'll eat just about anything as the snap I took below shows. FZ20 Sept. 6, 2006. In case you can't see it clearly, that is a bolt this guy is swallowing! btw, I don't think this is a Great Blue Heron, but maybe a little blue by the coloring?
