I love the way plants open up when it gets warmer (or not so cold)

Aye but never in the Highlands... we're all so laid back here, we have grazes on our shoulder blades.

This current series had a dark theme, back ground that is. How I felt till I quit work, all wound up, then I went and shot a wedding. I must love stress.

Here in Atlantic Canada before the fern opens is a green vegetable delicacy known as a "Fiddle Head". People go out and clip the top of the plant when it looks like the photo or the string head of a violin or "Fiddle". The "Fiddle Heads" are then boiled or steamed and served usually with roast beef.
