Under attack !!
Lens: 100 macro WR Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Melbourne

My neighbours roses were being attacked by aphids, 5 minutes after these photographs were taken my neighbour attacked the attackers !!! RIP aphids.
2nd image is a crop of the 1st to get a good look at the little devils. Thanks for having a look.

Very nice series of a nasty infestation. Hope your neighbors can nip this in the bud.

A bit of soapy water in a spray bottle sorts them out without hurting the Rose Buds

I have never seen an infestation like this before. Thank goodness they are only tiny.

Yes EM, my neighbour has been dispatching aphids for 82 of her 92 years !!!

Thanks Mike. Yes the little blighters do sooooo much damage, but I got a cuppa and a biscuit for alerting my neighbour to her unwanted guests. Home made biscuits too !!!

Nice view into "their world", poor ant may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Hey, buddy - this is a terrific series! Conceptually and technically.

I used to thing B&B stood for bed and breakfast, but I guess it really means bud and bug.

Thanks Tom. Insect wars happen every day in every garden, sometimes we are lucky enough to see it.
