Adam, forgive me, I am not sure whether you are serious or jesting. My hunch is Pokémon, inexplicably, has passed you by unnoticed. It is a game particularly popular in Japan (where it originated) but swept the world like wild fire. This senior citizen here in fact does play the game while she was waiting for the train, I know because I looked over her shoulder to see what she was doing. The two people outside; I don't know what they were doing on their phones but I would not be surprised if indeed they also were playing the game and furthermore there was a real possibility all three were playing against each other without knowing it.

Pokémon includes video games, trading card games, animated television shows and movies, comic books, and toys. Pokémon is the second best selling video game franchise, behind only Nintendo's franchise and is currently the highest grossing media franchise game of all time. The game craze has edicted people of all ages world wide who play it on their smart phones.

I was just surprised that even women of advanced age get sucked into playing this game. Then again, why not.
