Couple Sun Birds

I was lucky to capture the couple together, which was very rare.

Oh why, oh why... don't we get get such things here? probably because they would be still frozen to the branches is the real answer due to lack of Sun.

Hi, Heinrich. I'm glad you like the birds. They were eating the flower honey in the flowers (Abutilon striatum). I'll never see the birds in your country, either. Hope you could share yours with us.

Thanks for your input. These birds seem to appear on the highland here, i.e., Yunnan, China, a sunny plateau. Maybe that's what makes them colorful. It takes time and patience to capture the fast moving birds, they come and eat the honey for only about 2 minutes and wouldn't come until about 50 minutes later.
