Distant storm, Badwater
Lens: Vario-Elmar-S 30-90mm Camera: Leica S (007) ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/8s Aperture: F16

I love Badwater in Death Valley: it's an extraordinary location, its landscapes are ever changing and with a sunset storm the light there becomes really magic. Leica S (Typ 007), Leica Vario-Elmar-S 30-90mm. Thanks for viewing, best regards

Vieri

Indeed it does, every time I go to Badwater (and to Death Valley in general) I am in awe of the landscape there - such incredible variety and such strange, awesome landscapes!

Best regards,

Vieri

Very good capture!

I'm fascinated with that place, along with the nearby Artist Palette, Devils Golf Course, and Ubehebe (sp?) Crater.

Thank you very much dmr, and I agree with you - Badwater is extremely fascinating, as is all of Death Valley for me. One of my favourite locations on the planet, always inspiring and always new. Best regards,

Vieri

This is such a good photo, Vieri. Such a forbidding environment so well depicted, with a "bonus" storm in the offing, makes it special.
