Thanks! I should have set up a tripod, but getting the right height and angle with a tripod was hard. I have a much prettier photo of raindrops on a bamboo leaf which I took when testing the DA35 macro. In this case I liked the smooth bokeh and the distorted image of the background in the drops.

Wow - I'm encountering lots of rain this morning - both on the forum and outside my window (our backyard is a lake). I was just commenting to one of EM's posts of a post-rain photo.

I really like the photo, Rob. The clarity of the drops and blue hue - very cool.

Good work.

2 smaller drops or air bubbles are barely visible within the drop just right of center. A tight crop from your original resolution file might reveal another good photo.

Thanks Jer! I liked the shades of blue as well.

Yes, it's two raindrops on the adjacent wire, I think. I'm not sure if there's enough resolution to get a decent image out of that crop, but it's worth a try! Thanks! In an ideal world I would have used a tripod and got a much closer shot.
