I didn't have much time to shoot yesterday but at least I could take a few shots I like ...
... apologies; I know I shouldn't do this with a Pentax camera as it is not working for sports, but that's the only camera I have

Some young and quite talented athletes:

It was also great to see some of the "heroes" of my youth, now coaching the next generation.

The guy in the middle is Charles Friedek, triple jump winner of the 1999 track and field world championship in Sevilla (jumping 17.59 meters - unbelieveable)

... and here is Gerd Wessig who won the 1980 Gold Medall at the Olympic games in Moskow. With a world record of 2.36 meters.
