Washington, DC Zoo
Posted By: Eastern Shore Charlie, 08-14-2008, 04:11 PM

I decided to take my grand kids, Daughter, and my K20D to the DC Zoo. Very fun time for all....only bummer was that there were no giraffes.....all shots with DA* 50-135 my bestest and favorite lens

I vote for both of those shots. Nicely done. I like the frames you've used as well. As you say, it's a great lens and even better with that sensor.

Nice shots. When did you go? I was there last Saturday, in the morning. It was my first time, I'm patting myself looking at your pic thinking I know these :ugh:.

Did you crop the lion pix? I brought the DA*50x135, as well as my Photax 80x205, can't remember which one I used, but I had to crop. IQ from K100D not at par with your K20D, but it is amusing. I call it "Don't Hate Me Coz I'm Beautiful".

That's funny...yep I was there last Saturday morning until 12:30. It was a really nice day. I saw the orangutan too. He was just the great thinker in my picture...We must of been in the same area at the same time....about 1/8 cropped on the lion.

I am having fun and learning how to do frames in CS to give the shots a little class. That lens is truly special.
