A little something from my M 50mm f1.7
Posted By: Photo Tramp, 02-18-2007, 11:45 AM

I took these the yesterday morning with my M 50mm f1.7 at F11 and 200 ISO.
The lens never stops amazing me.

Of course they are shots of my favorite test site. The Back Yard.

Your back yard somehow looks more beautiful every time that I see pictures of it David

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Stu;
I think the first one is over sharpened and number two might also be, but number three is a favorite.

This place, it never stops amazing me. The change of seasons is always so great around here. I love this river and our home. When we first moved here I never had time to really see it. Now that I'm off the road and can sit and enjoy what I have it's great.

I have always said Please come and enjoy a visit. Sit on the deck on a summer day and enjoy the birds and the fishing and the Pentax moments.

I just wish the snow was only in the yard.

I thank you for the kind words.

Nice landscaping, David. That little 1.7 really picks up all the light, doesn't it. Freddy

i feel that there might have been excesive use of shadows/highlights in ps, on the first one especially? am i guessing right? i do love your backyard as well, and i can only agree on any praise one might give to the 50 1.7 lens.

I second that -- a bit too much contrast and/or sharpening applied.

Nice photos and a great backyard. The third is my favourit. I had a look at the photos I had taken the last month and half of them was with my M50 1.7. I just love the colours and sharpness of that lens.

Cheers

Eddie
