Red-crowned Cranes
Lens: DA L55-300 Camera: K-5 IIs Photo Location: Sheyang, China ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F9
Posted By: Xiaomao Yang, 05-23-2017, 07:40 PM

Sheyang in Jiangsu province has a natural reserve for red-crowned cranes (Grus japonensis). It was cloudy and I shot them with the old kit zoom DA L55-300 on K-5 IIs, I thought it would be better to process them in B&W, since the color was not impressive.
Thanks for viewing!

They work very well in B&W. Nice pose in No. 1 and good sharpness in all.

It's very kind of you for the comment, Ozwald. The crane in No. 1 just landed after flying for a few minutes, it was crying/singing with its head and beaks pointing into the sky, and I lost no chance.
All the best.

Hi, Susan! I'm glad you like the beautiful cranes. I think you'd be even more delighted and excited if you saw the elegant angels with your own eyes.
Kind regards.
