Golden Hour with the Golden Child
Lens: Takumar (M42) 55/1.8 Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Placerville, CA ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F1.8

A portrait I took of my younger son, last month. Sky enhanced w/ PS. Son enhanced w/ sugar. Hope you enjoy.

Absolutely gorgeous. What a great choice of lens to enhance the golden feeling as well. I'm sure Mum and Gran's will be pleased with a print of this

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am loving the older Takumar lens for portraits and have had several shots printed out on the large format canvases and it really brings them to life.

I have a cupboard full of screw mount and bayonet mount taks and SMC's, etc as well. Bought them all when I first started out on this 'cheap' hobby

I really should put them through their paces on the K-1 and see which works.

I've been told that they really shine w/ the K-1. I'm renting a K-1 next month for a trip and look forward to giving it a good test run w/ some of the older lenses.
