Wildflower?
Lens: 100mm Macro WR Camera: K-50 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F4

Found a handful of these while weed-eating the ditch by the road in front of our house. Went back later, clipped a stem, put it in a small vase of water and took it's picture. I have no idea what it is.

I believe this is a Sidalcea sp. in the mallow family. Likely either S. hendersonii or S. oregana. Beautiful shot of a beautiiful plant.

Mallows are great plants, take care of them. Mostly that's leaving them alone and keeping invasive species out. You should see some native bees on those flowers.

I left them alone in hopes that they'll spread. They have their work cut out for them though. Lots of weeds and grasses to compete with.
