ISS pass in Western Australia
Lens: Sigma 18-125 DC HSM Camera: K-70 Photo Location: Tom Price, WA ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F7.1

ISS pass this morning in the Pilbara. Underexposed at ISO 200 and F 7.1, 103 sec exposure. Light pollution from the mine LHS of frame. Only my second attempt at this, and certainly need to hone my PP skills.

Thanks. The sky is still pretty mucky, some of which is light pollution, and of course the Milky Way looks blurred due to exposure length. I'll keep trying. This is part of a sequence from 2 days prior, 30 sec exposure--I tried in interval to stack the resulting images, but it didn't really work

Good job, I like the colours. Astrotracer might be good here, to get long exposures with sharp skies.Good excuse to buy a K1.

K-70 has an astrotracer already, just needs the external GPS unit. I hadn't really thought of using the astrotracer for such a short exposure, typically 4 minutes or less, but it would enable sharp stars and Milky Way. Oh well, it's only money 😀
