Machinery RAF Cosford museum

I took a little walk around the Museum at RAF cosford - rather than try and get shots of whole aircraft which is always difficult in a museum due to space, I thought that for this project I would try and focus on either the detail or abstract that this subject can present to the viewer...

not sure if it's worked but all C&C welcome

Great series! I know you focussed on parts of aircraft, but I really love the shot of the Lightning!

Great series.
The second shot has a very surreal feel to it, with the horizontal and vertical seams, my brain keeps trying to turn it into a mirror reflection, but then gets confused. I love it.

I've come to similar conclusions, walking around aircraft museums. I agree with RobG about the Lightning shot: the vertical stance too reminds me that I read years ago about a Lightning fitted with afterburners being used as an experimental VTOL aircraft!

Love the pictures, the TSR2 shot is especially good. I imagine you had the camera at arms length above your head to get that with great results
