I realize that Guru Kerrowdown is well versed in the esthetics of thin DOF, but may it please you to share what aperture is required to get the dangling rope in focus along with the exquisite detailing on the frontmost portion of the bell itself? Many thanks in advance, O' Enlightened One.

To get this required dof, of 3"- 4" at 5 feet shooting distance, you would need F/16 or F/22.

I was expecting someone standing on a gibbet.
Such disappointment.

We have tended to phase out their usage nowadays in Scotland, as they tend to smell a bit after a few weeks.
