Misc Colorful Creatures

Earlier this week, we took our granddaughter, Claire, to Moody Gardens in Galveston and while there we went through an exhibit featuring animatronic dinosaurs that move and make appropriate noises. Claire is heading towards 13 and over the past couple of years has evolved a growing awareness of her dignity so that she occasionally comes across as stoic in situations that would have produced squeals and giggles just a few years ago. However, these animated critters brought out the "little girl" in her once again and she had a grand time.
