After seeing this stunning image from normhead

The Photobucket to Flikr thread. - PentaxForums.com

I decided to give this pixel shift malarky a go... certainly gets the detail, this is one of the new bi metal coins in UK circulation.

Looks good to me. I've never paid any attention to the pixel shift technology - I guess I should stir my lazy carcass to look into it.

That's an ideal subject for the technology, definitely. You've gone in yer face close up, it's frame filling and bold. Very clear and detailed. Hard to know if the PS makes a huge difference compared to a " normal" one with more sharpening .....perhaps you could try that...?

I think yours here could take a bit more sharpening also .... That would add even more bite!
