It was hard to resist trying to get the best capture I could when this daughter returned from a Fair and Face Painting activity!

Taken with the K7 and D FA28-105mm ,at 105mm, with the Pentax AF-540FGZII flash, on-camera flash bounced off the near wall and with a 'flag' type diffuser, P-TTL with +2.0 Flash Compensation.

Thanks all, I'm pleased you saw the photo ! On camera flash is far easier to manage in busy cramped environments, and the results can he surprisingly similar to more complex off-cares setups. Get out those flashes and flags everyone !

Yes! One of those moments when it really pays to have the camera ready ....and the flash .....and the flag .... And the wall nearby!

I've taken a suggestion from Philip (MrB) over at PentaxUser Forum (he's also a member here) to remove the distractions on the background, which are sunshine highlights shining throught the curtains. A bit of levels layer work has sorted that out ..... I think it improves it, thanks MrB!
