Chalk it up to Pentax
Photo Location: Reno, Nevada

I almost never take pictures of people. Yesterday I decided to stick my neck out and went to the Chalk Art Festival. I did run into a couple who were shooting with K3's.

Some designs were fairly small, some quite large.

A few geometric patterns and some intricate designs.

I actually worked up the nerve to photograph strangers!

It was 100 degrees and this poor girl was wandering around.

I note that for the most part... it was just the bonnie lasses that got photographed.

Guilty as charged.

But I beg the honorable court to accept my impeccable taste as a mitigating factor.

After an admission of guilt, the sentence shall be... "Taken from this place and hung by the neck until dead" and "May God have mercy upon your soul"

Great series. Some very talented artists, regardless of gender! I can barely scribble my name on the ground in chalk. Well done!
