A face of story teller
Posted By: roentarre, 08-18-2008, 01:39 AM

On the weekend, I had a chance to take street candid photographs with Voe.

The occasion was great given there were so many opportunities for candids.

This elderly man was talking with an extremely deep voice on the phone. The lighting makes him like a prophet.

The shot was taken with Fa * 80-200 f2.8 on k20d. I put a black gradient gradient on the right to decrease the distraction.

Hehe. Thanks for that. I was waiting for the comment like under-exposure or poor metering etc.

A lucky shot while you were photographing the acrobatic guy in the corner.

Taste festival this weekend. Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning?

Wow, just incredible. I love the confusion that this image evokes - an older (perhaps wise) man, clearly using techonology (talking on a blackberry). Fantastic!
I think the darker right side helps to keep your attention on the face.

WOW!!!

"CLUNK!!!" (that was my jaw hitting the desk)

Seriously, I can't recall seeing a better image.....ever! I may have seen some (very, very few) as good as this, but surely nothing that surpasses it.

I'm jealous!

Great shot. Reminds me of Galdalf from Lord of the Rings.

I like the shot. This man could only be a story teller. Or a wizard.

Magical!

Very very nice.

Since the hat is cut maybe take a little more off the top (and left to balance)?
