Emerging from the Gloom
Lens: FA 43 Camera: K-1
Posted By: Sailor, 07-15-2017, 01:30 PM

I'm still fiddling with my new FA 43 - it's too hot to take the lens on a field trip, so I seem to be confined to closeups.

Nice and sharp considering the ISO would have been pretty high.

Actually, EM, the ISO wasn't high (400) but the photographer may have been () since I took this shot at cocktail hour and at the 43's minimum focus distance. Given that the lens was virtually wide open (f/2) - with a consequent narrow DOF - I was lucky to get one this good. I took a couple of others that were unusable, but even though this pic has suboptimal sharpness, I liked it well enough to PP it.

Nicely done. Got just the right balance for creating an interesting mood.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Les - just the feeling I was going for. Porsche are good but not necessarily . . . . . . nice.
