Bike bits
Posted By: thomasjmpark, 08-18-2008, 08:44 AM

I wasnt feeling inspired today and couldnt be bothered to go for a cycle and take pictures so I stayed at home and took pictures of bike instead! Partly inspired by somebody on here who just bought a nice shiny new hybrid bike (cant remember who).

I guess its good practice for close ups of mechanical things...(not sure I like the last 1 but thought id sling it in anyway)

I like them all, but I feel an overwhelming urge to come over and help clean your ride. I like the last shot, but I think it might work better with a touch more DOF so that mabey two teeth were in focus.

I've never washed my bike, and it's cleaner as well.
Although the sand and gravel that it sees doesn't stick like the mud others see.

Feel free! The reason for the dirt was from a particularly muddy session in the mountains the other day, I ended muddier than the bike.

I actually used a power hose to get most of the mud off the other day but it didnt have an effect on the ingrained stuff, some soap, water, defreaser and a toothbrush required for that!
