Very nice I like the first humming bird (where do they put their feet?) And the last lake shot. I have a sigma 70-300 but none of my pics have been like that! How far away were you from the humming bird? What were your settings for it?

I would say about 8 feet from the bird and here are the EXIFs data :

Appareil*: PENTAX K20D
Logiciel*: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows
Dimensions*: 7545 x 4672*px*(35.3 Mpx)
Focale*: 210*mm*(équiv. 315*mm)
Ouverture*: F4.5
Temps de pose*: 1/180"
Sensibilité ISO*: 100/21°
Programme*: manuel
Mode de mesure*: multizone
Balance des blancs*: auto

I must have taken 120 shots and kept about 10 of the hummingbirds.

Beautiful shots. I like the 1st and 4th the best. Hopefully someday my shots will look as good.

The first hummer shot is stunning. The final shot is very good. Excellent colours in both of them.
